About Snacks

How do you ensure freshness and maintain quality of your snacks?

For most of the snacks especially nuts, our stocks are stored in a cold room upon arrival. Every week, the required stocks will be transferred to our air-conditioned facility at Jurong East for packing. Upon receiving your order, we will consolidate and pack accordingly. All bags are sealed on the same day after packing to maintain their optimum quality.  

If you are doing a pre-order of more than a month away, we will only pack the snacks nearer to the date. Quality is our priority so rest assured that we take this seriously. 

What is the shelf life of the snacks?

The snacks are best consumed within 1 month. The best before dates are printed at the back of the packaging with around 6 to 8 months shelf life. We recommend to store them in the fridge and/or air tight containers. 

Are our snacks Halal certified?

SnackFirst does not have a halal certificate at the moment but we can declare that it is a "No Pork, No Lard" establishment. All snacks have "No Pork, No Lard" printed on the back label together with the best before dates.  

These snacks on this page do come from halal certified establishments. We do have the halal certification from the suppliers for these snacks and can also produce a declaration stating "These snacks are manufactured in a halal certified facility". 

How should I store the snacks to ensure freshness?

If the snacks are consumed within 1 month, do keep them in air-tight containers (not in our bags if possible) under room temperature. For more than 1 month of storage, please keep them in the refrigerator. You may keep them in the freezer if you need to store them for more than 3 months.  

What is the best before date for your snacks?

All snacks have best before dates pasted at the back. For retail pack of 120g in kraft paper bags and higher weights, the shelf life is at least 6 months. For party packs of below 95g, the shelf life is around 3 months.

What is the nutritional content of all the snacks?

Most of the snacks will have their own nutritional information stated at the product description. Unfortunately, we do not have the nutrition information for some snacks at the moment as not all supplier provides them.

What is the daily intake limit?

One handful of snacks or 30g is the rule of thumb for one day's consumption. The exact number to eat is listed here in our nutritional info page. You can take slightly more for raw snacks and lesser for roasted ones as they contain some salt. It's best to limit yourself to get the full nutritional benefits.

Which snacks are organic or suitable for vegans or vegetarians?

Some of our snacks contain shrimps, eggs and anchovies  so we have sorted out a range that is suitable for vegans. You can find the full range on this page or search vegan at our website.

What snacks are suitable for pets?

We do have a range for our furry friends including most dogs and cats. These snacks have no salt, sugar, preservatives and are natural on its own, do take note of the portion and check out this page or search pets at our website.

Birds can eat all kinds of nuts. Parrots usually like raw walnuts, pistachio and almonds while hamsters prefer almonds, walnuts and pine nuts. Do not feed any of these snacks to rabbits and guinea pigs as they cannot eat any of them. 

About Orders and Delivery

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account. Just visit our account creation page and follow the instructions on-screen.

What's more, by creating an account, you join our loyalty program that will earn you tidbit points for every dollar spent. Use them to redeem discount codes for your next purchase! Find out more at our program page.

What are the countries you ship to?

We are based in sunny Singapore island and do free shipping from $20 to one location per order.

For shipping internationally, you can select your country and view the additional shipping charges reflected at the checkout page. Please make sure your address is entered accurately.

What are the delivery charges and lead time?

We offer free shipping with a minimum spend of $20. Otherwise, shipping charge is $2.90. Our order lead time is 2 to 5 working days (exclude public holidays and weekends). We process orders at 9am, all orders after 9am would be processed on the next day. Do take note that there is a chance of courier delays of 1 to 2 working days. 

For normal deliveries, we use standard third party couriers, usually Qxpress. Their delivery hours are from 9am to 9pm, Monday to Saturday. You will get an email to notify you that your snacks have been shipped out! Please allow 1 to 2 more days during peak seasons and sales period.

For urgent delivery or specific 2 hour delivery time slot or specific delivery dates, additional charges apply. Please view express shipping charge page for more information.

Where is my order confirmation?

An email notification is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at contact@snackfirst.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

How do I edit or cancel my order?

Please email us directly at contact@snackfirst.com for any order changes. You can amend or cancel your order as long as it is still not processed.

For order cancellation, in the event that your order is already processed (we are already packing them) or shipped (handled over to the delivery partner 🚚), we regret that we are unable to cancel it anymore.

Can I include a message in the snack box?

Yes you can, only for orders through our website and not through other online platforms. Message to recipient can be added when you check out under 'Note' section in the cart. You can also send us the excel file or drop us an email on this. 

Can we do self collection or store pick up? Can we specify a certain delivery timing?

You can do self collection at our office or OHV store when you order through the website. Bulk packs (>500g) are packed to order and only retail packs (100g to 200g) are available on our shelves. Contact us to check if your snacks are ready for collection. Cut off for same day self collection is by 2pm. You can specify the self collection at our Note section in the cart. 

We can also arrange delivery for a specific 2 hour range time slot for week days only by Grab Express or Lalamove. Additional charges apply and you can view express shipping for more details. This additional charge is also the same if you need delivery urgently within 2 working days or with specific delivery timings or dates. 

Can I arrange delivery on a specific day for birthdays / event dates?

Yes you can! When you check out, just specify the date (at least 2 working days in advance) at the Additional Instructions to Seller box and we will arrange it accordingly. Please take note that for all free standard courier deliveries, there is a chance of courier delay of up to 1 week. 

You can specify the preferred date at our Note section in the cart. 

For guaranteed delivery on a particularly date with 2 hour range, please opt for Grab Express at additional $20. 

Can I receive my snacks on the same day or at night?

For normal delivery, we usually engage Qxpress and their stated delivery hours are from 9am to 9pm, Mon to Sat. They can leave the parcel at your doorstep at your request. To do that, call Qxpress @ 6661 9100 once you have the tracking url with parcel id. They will help you with your specifc requests.

For express delivery, we engage express delivery services (e.g. Grab Express, Lalamove) and additional charges apply. Visit express shipping charges page for more information.

Can you do bulk orders, corporate gifts, wedding favours and other special requests?

We do have special price for bulk orders. For customised gifts and all queries, please contact us directly to discuss more.

How do I input the promotional code during check out?

First, choose the snacks that you like. Then, click Check out. You will reach this page below. 

 

Enter the promo code in the red circle, click Coupon and the discounts will be shown instantly to the products applicable. You can proceed with payment after which. 

How to re-order snacks from my previous order?

You need to have an account with us to access your order history and re-order your snacks.

1. Login to your account

After logging in, your dashboard page will load and under 'Order History', you will see your past orders.account-dashboard

3. A pop-up page will be shown and you will be able to review the snacks and quantity that you would like to re-order

4. Click 'Add to Cart' to add your selected snacks to your existing cart, or click 'Reorder & Checkout' to proceed directly to the checkout page

 

I have entered a wrong shipping address, how can I change it?

Email or message us immediately! We can change it as long as we have not ship the order. Once we hand over your parcel to our delivery partner, it becomes 10x more difficult to change the address and there will be of course be a delay in your delivery. 

We regret to inform you that we cannot be held responsible for damage or loss due to the input of an incorrect address. Please check your details clearly and not give your snacks away!

Shipment did not reach you or tracking states that parcel is delivered but you did not receive it

Oh snack! If you have not received your items within 5 working days after you have been notified that your purchase is shipped, please contact us. Do allow 5 more working days for SingPost parcels.

About Payment

How do I track my package?

In your order confirmation email, click and navigate to your order status page.

On your order status page, you can view your order, shipping and payment details. If your order is shipped, your shipment details will be shown and you can click the tracking number for more details.

How do I pay using PayNow?

At the checkout page, you will be presented with a few options for your payment. You can choose the 'Bank Transfer using PayNow' option.

Using your banking application, you can either use our UEN number, 201700762H or scan the below QR code for payment.

Besides credit cards, what other payment methods do you accept?

You can pay by the PayNow option when you check out. Follow the instructions to pay using your DBS Paylah, OCBC Pay Anyone or UOB PayNow applications. If you like to pay directly to our bank account, please contact us to find out more. We also accept GrabPay on our website.

How can we do returns or exchange?

We do not accept exchange due to change of mind. If there is any quality issue, please email us at contact@snackfirst.com and we will reply you within 2 working days on the exchange procedure. Any disputes must be communicated within 7 days upon receipt across all platforms. 

Damaged or incorrect products received

We take special care in packing your orders to prevent them from getting damaged during transit. If in an unfortunate incident you received damaged or incorrect products, we will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund. Any defects or disputes should be communicated within 7 days upon delivery.

Do you accept payment by vendors@gov, GeBIZ and Sesami (NHG/NUS)?

Yes, we do. We also do submit tenders so do invite us and we will definitely reply within 2 working days. 

I have made a wrong order or changed my mind, can I get a refund?

Sorry we do not do refunds but you will receive the equivalent amount in store credits. For amendment of orders, do email us at contact@snackfirst.com and we will assist in the change of billing, shipping adress, change of flavours or pack size. 

About Rewards

How do I join the rewards program?

Simply by having an account with us! New here? Create a store account. Bought from us before? Access the login page. If you have not activated your account before, follow the instructions provided for resetting your password. Once you have done it, you are welcome to participate in all actions we have prepared for you to earn points.

How do I earn tidbits or points?

You earn 1 point or tidbit with every $1 paid made using your account, or by completing any other actions listed in rewards tab. Just click on “Rewards” tab to see the list of activities available for you to take part.

How do I redeem my points?

Just click on “Rewards” tab and you will see the list of all discounts you can redeem your points for. Click "Redeem" and copy the promo code. Apply the promo code when you check out to get the equivalent discounts.

How does the membership tier works?

How do I get the free 100 tidbits?

When you made any purchase, you will have to include your email address during the point of purchase. After which, you will need to sign up an account with us or click "Forgot Password" to get a new password. Once you logged in, make sure to activate the account by verifying your address. You will see the 100 tidbits (equivalent to $5) credited to your account after which. 

How do I join the referral program?

When you refer a friend, they will have to be a new sign up or account and have made at least 1 purchase. Both you and the referral friend will each get a promo code worth $10. 

What are the other ways to earn tidbits?

Here are some ways you can get free tidbits:

1) Creating an account with us - 250 tidbits

2) Leave a review - 50 tidbits

3) Birthday reward on your birthday month (Remember to input your birthday) - 500 tidbits

4) Place order - 1 tidbit for every $1 spent

 

How does the tidbits multiplier work?

For every $1, it will be 1 tidbit for our basic Snack Fan Tier. Once you have purchased at least $500 in a year, your multiplier will be 1.1 as a Snack Lover. This means that for every $1, your tidbits will be 1.1 instead. Similarly for Snack Super Star with a minimum of $1500, your multiplier will be 1.2.

Will the tidbits expire?

Once you have made the purchase, the tidbits will only expire after a year. An email will be sent to you if there are any points that are going to be expired soon.

Do you have any food licence?

We pack our snacks in a SFA approved food facility under the licence number PL22E0139.

Do you have a physical store? Where do you sell your snacks?

Our retail store is at One Holland Village (7 Holland Village Way, #02-16 S275748). You can head there for all retail packs and selected flavours for gift and party packs. Opening hours are 11am to 9pm daily.

Alternatively, you can order through our website and self-collect from our packing facility at Tradehub 21 (18 Boon Lay Way, #02-120 S609966) with advance notice of 3 hours. Opening hours are 8am to 5pm on weekdays only.

We are listed on all online platforms namely, Lazada, Shopee, RedMart, Fairprice Online, Amazon, Tiktok and GrabFood. For express  delivery on specific dates, please top up $20 for Grab Express.

Do you have any wholesale price list?

If you intend to resell or distribute our products, please take note that our snacks should be in original packaging to qualify for our wholesale discounts. Please email us at contact@snackfirst.com for the wholesale price list.

Why are there small packets of samples in my delivery?

Occasionally, we would like you to try our new products and show our appreciation for your continuous support. Furthermore, the party packs are convenient to contain your daily limit of snacks on the go. Win-win!
