Dahlia cookies or kuih semperit or biskut bunga dahlia are Malaysia's very own butter cookies, in answer to the classic butter cookies from Scotland. It is shaped like the dahlia flowers, with ridges on the rounded surface and is so pretty to look at, especially as gifts and during festivals.
These cookies are melt-in-the-mouth yet so creamy and rich, which is why you can't stop snacking it. The bright yellow colour is due to the margarine added, so with the lovely shape, colour and taste, they made it a definite crowd favourite!
